A ver. ¿Qué código? ¿En morse, C, C++, Bash, Perl, Python, JavaScript, JAVA, LOGO, REXX, HOYGAN,...? ¿En que formato está la fecha, en ISO, formato USA, en cuál? Pon un ejemplo.

Búscate un libro sobre php o algo, un manual, inténtalo por tí mismo y luego vuelves con dudas concretas. Esto lo voy a cerrar
