No reconoce pantalla

Buenas gente, soy un asiduo lector del foro aunque nunca me habia decidido a postear, hasta hoy que no encuentro la solucion a mi problema xD.

Vereis, he hecho una instalacion limpia de Debian Squeeze, todo ok, inicio el sistema y cuando se termina de cargar todo y va a iniciarse el entorno grafico la pantalla se queda en negro sin ningun error, harto de no saber que pasa conecto un monitor Benq por Vga al portatil, y vuala, sale todo perfecto por el benq pero no tengo huevecillos de que salga por la del portatil que es la que me interesa xD, alguna idea debianitas?

PD:Empezo a pasarme esto despues de actualizar el sistema, y es cdo hice instalacion limpia (con testing claro) y sigue todo igual

¿Tarjeta de vídeo?
¿Drivers?
¿xorg.conf?
¿logs?
eso solo para espesar.

Ozu... esta bien la pantalla del portatil....???
Suele ocurrir por problemas de frecuencia de refresco....no la habrás tocado instalando algún driver que no sabemos todavía si es ati, nvidia,intel.....????
Si dudas, borras entonces el archivo /etc/X11/xorg.conf y luego intenta arrancar de nuevo. Esto último hazlo si no has revisado antes el archivo y no has encontrado nada raro....mmmmm recuerda que borrar este archivo, borra la configuracion de la pantalla, teclado y ratón pero nuestro amigo HAL si no falla, lo configura solito. Una vez hecho esta burrada, puedes volverlo a generar ( a mi me salvó con un liveCD) aunque puedes hacerlo desde la consola ( mucho mejor ).

Mm xorg.conf no tengo xD, la instalacion como dije es limpia y no he tocado nada, si no lo ha creado será con eso de que ahora no es necesario tal archivo (a grandes rasgos), o a lo mejor es precisamente eso lo que falla xD.

La tarjeta de video es Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device y logs, ¿que logs hacen falta? , thx por todo

Has puesto el log con la pantalla vga activa.

¿Puedes ponerlo cuando te da el error?

Arrancas el ordenador y cuando te quedes en negro pulsas Ctrl+alt+F1 y llegaras a un terminal, allí puedes copiar el log a otro archivo y después arrancas con el monitor externo y nos pegas el contenido de ese archivo.

No puedo =S,la pantalla sigue en negro, se que esta puesta la consola xk puedo reiniciar el equipo a "ciegas" (shutdown -r) pero no sale la consola por pantalla, esto es increible xDD

Mceds a reportado un error con kms con las intel en su blog aquí:

Desactiva kms como dice en esta entrada y vuelve a probar.

Desactivé kms y ahora ni siquiera saca imagen por el otro monitor xD. Necesito el portatil urgentemente para trabajar así que instalaré la Stable y confiaré en que en un futuro cercano lo arreglen, gracias de todas formas =D

Si no has empezado ya a reinstalar, también puedes intentar mi otro "workaround", que es funcionar temporalmente con los drivers VESA. Para ello, tendrías que abrir el /etc/X11/xorg.conf, encontrar la sección de la tarjeta gráfica...

Section "Device"
        Identifier      "Configured Video Device"

Y meter una línea debajo del Identifier, tal que:

        Driver      "vesa"

Y reiniciar las X.
