Driver locgitech quickcam en squeeze
Hola, bueno mi consulta es acerca de los drivers de esta camara, eh buscado en internet y se hace referencia a un driver"qc-usb"
baje este paquete con el synaptic, y utilize el module-assistant como indica esta guia.

realize todos los pasos (no desde el principio, sino desde que se ejecuta el module-assistant). Realise todos los pasos sin errores, pero la camara sigue sin funcionar, tecnicamente tendria que haber aparecido una carpeta en
/devllamada video0 pero no aparce, aqui les dejo un lsusb para que vean que la camara esta siendo identificada

En el dmesg no identifica tu webcam???
debería de cargarse el dirver gspca

La tuya es la 928 por lo que es spca el driver que usa y no está del todo soportada.
Revisa esto, al fin al cabo es el mismo driver....

Tendras que instalar los módulos del kernel. y ya que tu camara usa v4l en vez de v4l2, muchos programas no la levantaran porque usan v4l2 en vez de v4l, de hecho, en los kernels mas actules, v4l ya desaparece dejando a v4l2 y uvc el encarguito especial.
Aqui tienes algo de informacion, sobre todo, donde pone una bombilla verde te dice que el kernel 2.6.26 tiene uvc pero, en la lista, no está tu cámara y me temo.... que no puedes usar uvc para tal caso. http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/
