Instalar Avermedia volar x en Linux debian 3.2.0-1-amd64 sid [Solucionado]
Hola, me gustaría poder instalar esta capturadora de tv en mi portatil, llevo buscando en internet bastante, pero no he conseguido que nada para debian sid.

Hola, para saber si es compatible la capturadora mira en la wiki de linuxtv. Si es compatible, con bajarte el firmware correspondiente suele ser sucifiente.
Para buscarlo necesitaras el identificativo de USB (lsusb) del dispositivo.

la verdad es que he buscado por muchos sitios, además las cosas tengo la costumbre de buscar y buscar, pero estoy atorado con esto (bueno estoy atorado con muchas cosas, pero esta la necesito en un corto periodo de tiempo). Repito gracias y espero no molestaros mucho.

Bajate el firmware a /lib/firmware/ desde aqui: http://palosaari.fi/linux/v4l-dvb/firmware/af9015/
Yo te recomiendo la version 4.95, a mi me va mejor.
Una vez que copies el firmware, enchufa la capturadora y mira el dmesg, te tendra que crear un "adapter0" en /dev/dvb/

Ya tienes el adaptador funcionando.
El resto se sale del hilo. Lee un poco, no es por no decirte, pero si te pongo los comandos tal cual no aprenderas.
Yo utilizo MythTV, pero lo mas facil creo que es Kaffeine.
